Small Steps #7
I don't think I would want to be famous because if I was every where I would go people would be crowded and I couldn't go any where alone and that would really bug me.

Have you ever read the book Holes? If so, then you will love this book. It's about two stories that connect in the middle. The first story is about two guys from Holes named X-ray and Armpit. They just got out of Camp Green Lake and now Armpit has a job that pays them little money, so X-ray comes up with this crazy idea to get twice the money he's making. Since Kaira Deleon (famous singer) is coming to his town they are going to buy tickets and scalp them for twice the money the bought them for. Kaira Deleon, this leads to the next story. This is about a teenage girl living in one world and dreaming of the other. The world she's dreaming of is the real her (Cathy Spears) because she wants to be a regular teenage girl instead of being Kaira Deleon because everyone has control of her life especially her manager/ step father. He decides on everything that Kaira does. She doesn't even get a say in anything when she's Kaira Deleon. And since he does decides everything for her she wants him to address him by "El Genius". I think thats a little unnecessary.
I really enjoyed this book because I hate reading, but when I started reading this one I couldn't put it down. I was so attached to it. The two things that I liked most about it was that it kept me guessing what would happen next, and I really liked how he brought two different stories and made them connect in the middle.
I would recommend this book to anyone that hates reading because at first I hated reading anything, but as I kept reading the book it really grabbed me and I didn't want to let go. So anyone who hates reading I would really read this book because it has certainty changed they way I've felt about books. It's made me want to try different genres of books. I would also like to recommend this book to people who love music because this book tells a story about a Singers life and even though you picture their life perfect, it is certainly the opposite for some singers.
